Site updates
We'll be doing some site updates in the future but are also looking into switching domain names. Best to check the original UB40 website for the latest news and info. We are currently busy with production of a UB40 live DVD with rehearsal footage and won't have too much time to update.

Twentyfourseven
UB40 will release their new album Twentyfourseven on June 16th! A special 10-track edition was released in the UK and Ireland in May that came free with the Mail On Sunday! Be sure to checkout the new single Lost & Found/Dance Until The Morning Light released a week earlier. A 5 track promo cd of Twentyfourseven is also released by Reflex Muzik. There are various mixes to be released including some dub plates for reggae radio. A live session is also planned for Jane Long's radio show on the BBC.

Ali Campbell Running Free
A 5 minute preview of Ali's forthcoming Running Free dvd has been posted on his site! The dvd will be released later this year and features his RAH performance and a "Making Of" documentary. Ali did also announce a change in tour schedule and that he is recording tracks for his 3rd album "Running Free".

2-DuB is sad to announce that both Ali Campbell and Michael Virtue have left UB40. The remaining members will continue as UB40. 2-DuB wishes both UB40 and Ali Campbell & Michael Virtue all the best in the future and hope sometime their problems can be resolved. UB40 announced that Duncan Campbell (Ali & Robin's brother) joined the band on vocals and Tony Mullings on keyboards. Other news sources claimed that Maxi Priest joined the band but this is NOT TRUE. Maxi Priest has his own band and career but does join UB40 on a few tracks on the new album Twentyfourseven. He also joins the band on stage at some tour dates.

Dub Sessions
There are some new (UB40) dubs, mixed by Jimmy, released soon. The dub album will be sold as merchandise during the forthcoming tour and in the UB40 shop! 3 Preview tracks have already been posted on the official site and they are superb. Brumminat Y2K Dubs in the late 70's style!

UB40 24/7
The band are done recording their forthcoming album which had the working title "Gary Tyler". It will be released on Reflex Muzik, UB40's new label. The album is being mixed now and is supposed to be released early 2008. The album title is "24/7".

Peace Makers Chauffeur

Canadian reggae/jazz/folk artist Jason Wilson is almost done mixing his album and has just recorded with 3 members of UB40! Michael Virtue will join on "Old Man's song". 2 more members are adding tracks! We heard that Astro performed with Jason doing "Wear You To The Ball" when he was in Canada earlier this summmer.....
