SHOULD ONE HAVE TO RELY ON A GURU?
This Awareness indicates the concepts of following a master is related to the yogic path of Bhakti Yoga, in which you choose a master to lead you and devote yourself to a master, you worship your master, in the belief that your master knows the way. This Awareness indicates there are other paths of yogic teaching.
There is Nana Yoga, which is the yoga of knowledge in which one knows or seeks to know what is the truth, and this Awareness indicates that entities have as much success following the Nana Yoga path as the Bhakti Yoga path. This Awareness indicates the Nana yoga could not easily follow the Bhakti Yoga path because they do not like to feel that they are dependent on someone else for their salvation or for finding the truth.
How can you find the truth, if it is the other person who finds the truth rather than you? The entity feels that by worshipping a master or some other entity, they are not actually finding truth themselves, or becoming more spiritually developed. The are simply stealing their way to the goal, by relying on someone else.
This Awareness indicates that for this person to say, "You must follow me! I am the master! You are a follower! You are just a student, a seeker!" is like being put in a position of inferiority, wherein the master is superior and you are inferior, and many entities do not like servitude or being put in a subservient level.
This Awareness indicates that this may come from other forms of conditioning, either past-life or otherwise, even in this life, But t still, the person may have such deep feelings about this that they cannot easily bring themselves to follow and trust someone else totally.
God is everywhere-Becoming One with God
Who says you need a guide? Isn't God everywhere? Isn't Divinity everywhere in the creation? This Awareness indicates that if you look around and look at Divinity, you will find it is not only near you, it is also permeating you. It is present in everything. It simply needs recognition, and if you surrender to it, you actually may be surrendering to the Divinity that is already with you, and has been with you from the beginning of time, and will be with you until the end of time, if there is indeed a beginning and an end.
This Awareness indicates this ever-present omniscient Divine Energy is yours for the claiming. You only need to give yourself to it. You do not need someone there to direct you. You do not need a master to tell you how to surrender. You do not need a master to worship. Simply worship the Divine.
If the master needs to be worshipped, give him your respect and be on your way. This Awareness indicates that when you surrender to the Divine, if the Divine is in the master, you will respect the master. If the Divine is in the tree that stands before you, you will respect the tree, and you may worship the master.
You may worship the moment You may worship the space in which Divinity stands before you. You may worship the space in which Divinity stands beside you. You may worship the space that permeates your physical form which holds Divinity. This Awareness indicates if Divinity is omnipresent, if it is everywhere, what is the point of singling out some rock, some building or some person or some name to worship, when you can worship the Divinity that is everywhere present throughout the creation?
This Awareness indicates, however, if you prefer to worship the caterpillar, the dandelion, the rosebud, the guru, the preacher, the man who claims to be God, or any other particular focal point of Divine Energy, that is all right! It may be foolish, but it is spiritually correct.
This Awareness indicates that any particular unit of the creation is symbolic of the Creator, therefore worshipping a guru, worshipping a master, is worshipping a symbol of the Divine Creator. Have fun go ahead and do it, if that is your pleasure. This Awareness indicates if you do not particularly enjoy traipsing after some entity who claims to be representative of God or claims to be God incarnate, if you do not wish to follow the entity around, washing his feet, attending his needs, then don't do it.
If you prefer to go over and pray to the sunflower, ask the sunflower for forgiveness, ask the sunflower for guidance, keep in mind that the sunflower is also a portion of Divine Consciousness and is a symbolic representation of Divinity, and it can give you as much as the master to whom you may pray.
This Awareness indicates that it is your choice, God is everywhere present in the creation. Address the Creation in any part and you attune to the Divine. Become one with any part or with the whole of Creation and you become one with God.
How do you separate yourself from God?
This Awareness indicates that an error may develop when you seek to separate yourself from the Divine, and claim personal identity and personal will ad recognize God as being separate from yourself, or recognize yourself as being separate from God. There is where error may come.
This Awareness indicates or, if you look at a part of the universe and say, "That is God! This is not God!" there is error in that also, for God is everywhere and God permeates the entire Creation, and therefore, how do you separate?
The act of separating one part and naming it God and ignoring the reality of God's presence elsewhere, is likened unto the first sin, the first separateness, the Lucifer, which saw himself as apart from God, and became impressed by his own beauty, his own glory, his own bright and shiny essence.
This was the first separateness, and this was the first error. It was an illusion, and many entities repeat this illusion throughout the time, seeing themselves separate from God, or seeing God as something separate from them, or seeing some being as God, or seeing some being separate from God, not recognizing that all beings are part of God.
Thinking is the Error: Pulling Apart the body of God by the Mind
This Awareness indicates it is a very simple situation, that thinking confuses. The act of thinking and separating and pulling apart the body of God by the mind; this is the error that mankind has perpetrated from moment to moment, down through history. This Awareness indicates all you have to do is recognize the Law of One, the One God, the One Being, the One Creation, with all of its so-called single parts, as being all the same. There is no separation, except in the illusion of thought.
