and played a lot in 1994. About 10 times
in 1996, 5 in 1997 and only once in 1998 and 1999. The song then re-appeared in some
2008 shows.

Live performance history: Played on just about
all shows from 1986 until USA 1989. In 1990 and 1992, the song was reintroduced
in the set in the USA.
Nick sang this song with Tim Rose at a
Tim Rose
concert in London on 15/10/96. It was the opening song on the
only 1999 show in London 17/6/99, and the
8/4/2001 Vienna session,
and then again played in 2001 and 2002 as a rare encore. About 160 performances in total.
Other artists' versions: Tim Rose. The French band Noir Desir does a live
version of the song on their album "Dies Irae", and they open it with the words:
"this is a song that Nick Cave probably found along some
muddy waters, it's called LTM".
Comments: Nick's version is very close
to the Tim Rose version.
