Nick Cave and Foetus

• Both Nick Cave and Jim Thirlwell lived in Australia and went to (different) art schools in Melbourne.
• Mick Harvey lived with Jim in London in 1981.
• Jim played sax with The Birthday Party on 7/9/82 Athens, Greece on the Stooges cover Funhouse.
• Nick and Jim were both in The Immaculate Consumptive.
• Jim Thirlwell co-wrote Wings Of Flies, when he joined the very first From Her To Eternity sessions.
• Both were involved with Annie Hogan's Kickabye EP and with Lydia Lunch's Honeymoon In Red album.
• The Foetus song "Sick Man" is supposed to be about Nick! It has sometimes been suggested that Nick's Scum was a reply to that, but that is not true.
• Jim appears in The Road To God Knows Where.
