On my site can find almost everything about Jacques Tati (original name Jacques Tatischeff) a French actor, screen writer and director. In a small number of movies he plays the figure of Monsieur Hulot. A simple citizen who has to deal with the new technologies of the daily life.

In Tati's movies influences are seen of "silent " movie hero's like Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd. Tati's power of discovering funny elements of common things, lift his movies to the humorous highlights of French movie arts.
Tati didn't like modern influences and new technical changes. His views are clearly captured in his movies. He plays with comic situations as technology changes in our community.

and UK other than ebay online auction as I would like to complete my collection?
I have Trafic, La Vacance, L'ecole des Facteurs and Playtime (but damaged).

You seem to be an expert: Do you know whether Monsieur Hulot uses a
German Opel vehicle in his film "Mon oncle"? I believe to remember
having seen it but I am not sure.I'd appreciate your help. Thanks a lot.

Hi,
Have you seen Truffaut's Stolen Kisses? Several sites lists Tati having an apperance in it as Hulot but I didn't spot him at all. I was wondering if you could confirm any of this as I'm supposing it's another case of internet misinformation.

I'm often asked "where can I purchase a Tati movie ?". At this moment there are almost no sellingpoints available. For all good understanding: I'm not a Tati movie seller. This site has evolved from my love for his movies.
